Ahern Insurance Applications have been developed as PDF eforms. These eforms are aimed at saving you valuable time while meeting your insurance needs.In order to fill out any AIB forms, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download the reader by clicking the button below.

Following are Tips for effectively working with the Ahern Insurance eforms.

Saving your Work
If for any reason you need to close your browser and complete your application at a later date,
click on the SAVE & EMAIL button. This will generate a mail to window from which you can email yourself the data file.

Sending Your Application to another person for completion

If you need to send your application to another party for completion, click on the SAVE & EMAIL button. This will generate a mail to window from which you can email the data file to another person.

Retrieving your Saved Data to complete your application
Anytime you want to continue fill in an application that you had previously saved, you will need to go back to the original URL you were provided and click on the IMPORT DATA and browse to find the location where you saved your data file.

Import Date button does work ?
If you click on IMPORT DATA and nothing happens, you are likely using an older version of Acrobat. In order for eforms to work properly, you will need to download Acrobat 5.1. If your are still having issues, we are on hand to support you at eforms@aherninsurance.com

Forgot your Original URL?
If you have trouble retrieving the original application, simply compare the name of the export data file (.FDF) and the original application (.PDF). You will be able to find any AIB application at http://www.aherninsurance.com/applications/index.htm

Submitting your final application to Ahern Insurance
Once you completed the filling of an application, you can send it using the email directly through your browser by using the SUBMIT TO AIB button.

Here is an FAQ to address support issues for eforms:

Problem: I click into a field and type information, but as soon as I click into the next field that information disappears from the screen.  If I click back into that field, the info I typed is there, but then info from any other field disappears.  My data also does not print.

Solution: Client is not using Acrobat 5.0 Have them close out of there browser and go to: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html to download Acrobat 5.0. If they have filled out a lot of the application, you can tell them to click the “SAVE & EMAIL” button before they close out their browser (which will cause them to loose their work). This will extract the data and save it to an email.

Problem: I save my work but it saved as an empty version of the application ie. my data is missing

Solution: Most likely the user selected SAVE AS or SAVE from the file menu or tool bar. They need to instead go to the second or last page of the application and click the “SAVE & EMAIL” button. Saving in Acrobat from the file menu when you don’t have the full version of the product only saves the empty application. AIB’s custom buttons are the only way to save your work without the full version of Acrobat

Problem: I clicked the “SAVE & EMAIL button as you requested but nothing happens

Solution: There are two reasons that this could be happening.

  1. You are utilizing a webmail account like Hotmail or Yahoo. The “SAVE & EMAIL” feature doesn’t work with webmail accounts. Please print and fax your application. Also, remember to mail in the application with your original wet signature.
  2. Your browser is not properly configured to access you email.

    •  Go to the Tools Menu in your browser

    •  Click on Internet options

    •  Click on the Programs tab

    •  Under email, make sure your default email system is selected i.e. Outlook

    •  If this doesn’t solve the problem please print and fax your application. Also, remember to mail in the application with your original wet signature.

  3. Your firm has firewall protection that doesn’t allow data to be sent across the internet. Please print and fax your application. Also, remember to mail in the application with your original wet signature.
