Dean Myers brings over 15 years of experience specializing in Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance and Risk Management consulting services to our agency.
Before joining AIB, Dean created and developed the Lawyers Program for Dealey, Renton & Associates, a Brokerage firm in Oakland. Dean was responsible for securing the exclusive program with DPIC Companies and Great American Insurance Company for Lawyers Professional Liability. His duties included marketing of the programs and management of the #1 sales team.
Dean has lectured on Risk Management and created MCLE courses customized for his law firm clients as well as conducted over 100 Risk Management seminars with several top law firms in Northern and Central California over the past 15 years. In addition, he has achieved the professional liability insurance designation of Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU). The RPLU education program is designed for the insurance agent active in the field of Professional Liability.
In addition to Lawyers Professional Liability, Dean is experienced in handling Accountants Professional Liability and Medical Malpractice. He currently handles the Malpractice coverage for two of the largest Emergency Room Physician groups in Northern California in addition to one of the largest regional Accounting firms in the Bay Area.
Dean received his Masters of Science in Computer Science from Sacramento State University. He is a Bronze-Level Toastmaster and volunteers for Special Olympics Northern California.
